You can also change and configure the status of the installed applications here. ## Overview ![](https://cdn-assets.productfruits.com/63eec083-4de9-4209-97aa-272b52fd5ccb) The overview tile shows you at a glance the number of applications managed in your environment. ## Measurement ![](https://cdn-assets.productfruits.com/12c2aca5-3257-4717-9c79-a78af4d67abe) In the **Measurement** area, you can see all managed applications that are configured or installed on the endpoints in your environment. Here you'll find an explanation of the [table functions](https://help.baramundi.cloud/en/article/table-functions). - **Name of the application** - **Publisher** (the publisher of the application stored in the applications catalog) - **Endpoints** (number of endpoints on which the application is installed) - **Target state:** The application state to be achieved and maintained on the endpoint; available target states: - - **Uninstall and keep uninstalled**: Using this function, the Proactive Agent ensures that an application is automatically removed from the endpoint. The application is initially uninstalled via the Proactive Agent as part of the next synchronization cycle (every 12 hours or immediately via the **Apply configuration immediately** button). If a user or administrator manually installs the application again, it is automatically uninstalled by the agent. The „Status“ column shows „Completed“ if the uninstallation was successful. **Notes:** (1) This target state does not prevent installations in real time. (2) The status is not applicable to the Proactive Agent. (3) The state is only available for selected applications, not for „Configure all“. - **Keep on latest available version**: The application is automatically updated to the latest available version, if not already done. If a new version is available in the catalog, it will also be installed automatically. The check for and installation of available updates takes place locally on the endpoint when the Proactive Agent is started and then automatically every 12 hours. - **Set no target state**: This status is indicated by a „-“. It means that the application is not changed by baramundi Proactive Hub. Neither automatic updates nor (de)installations are carried out. - **Endpoints with individual target state** (number of endpoints on which a target state is configured that differs from the target state configured for an app at environment level) - **Status** (reflects the sum of the respective status messages recorded on the individual endpoints on which a target state is configured for the application in question): - - **Waiting for endpoint**: Implementation will take place within the next 12 hours, provided the endpoint is reachable. - **Fulfilled** - **Not fulfilled** ### Action button: Configure applications You can use this button to perform the following actions: - **Configure selected** (To do this, first select the desired application(s) using the boxes on the left in the table.) - **Configure all** (affects all applications managed on the endpoint) - **Add applications configuration** #### **Configure applications:** To configure the target state for one, several or all applications, use the „Configure selected“ or „Configure all“ function. 1. Select the desired new target state: Uninstall and keep uninstalled, Keep on latest available version or Set no target state. **Note:** If the option „Configure all“ is selected, „Uninstall and keep uninstalled“ cannot be used as a target state in order to minimize the damage of an accidental misconfiguration. ![](https://cdn-assets.productfruits.com/b38fa3a5-f444-4088-a346-39c18f20d010) 2. If you select the **Keep on latest available version** option, the following window appears. Click the toggle button to decide whether an application package that has not yet been installed on all affected endpoints should be installed automatically by Proactive Hub. Then click **Save & Accept**. After a target state has been saved, it can take up to 12 hours for it to be implemented on the endpoint. The prerequisite for this is that the endpoint is online. **Add application configuration** If you want to add or permanently uninstall applications (coming soon), select this option and the window "Add application configuration" will open: 1. Choose between: 2. - Install and keep up to date - Uninstall and keep uninstalled 3. In the search bar, enter the name or the first three letters of the software package or manufacturer you want to select. The results are sorted by application name (case-insensitive). Select all required applications from the list with **\+ Add** and go down to the **Selected applications** area. When your selection is complete, confirm with **Save**. 6. Before saving the new target state, please refer to our liability notice for application management. 7. Then click **Save & Accept**. After saving, it can take up to 12 hours for the software to be installed on the endpoint. The prerequisite for this is that the endpoint is online. > **Note** > Only the latest application version can be distributed via **Add applications**.
