# Overview

With Proactive Connect Wave, you can retrieve endpoint information from the Proactive Hub directly within supported web applications. The browser extension gives you quick access to endpoint information without having to switch to the Proactive Hub.

With the browser extension **Proactive Connect Wave**, you can view information from the baramundi Proactive Hub directly within other applications. To do this, the extension integrates with supported UEM solutions, ticketing systems, and other web applications. This allows you to access information about endpoints without having to switch to the Proactive Hub first.

### Supported Browsers

The browser extension is available for the following browsers:

-   Microsoft Edge (via Chrome Web Store)
-   Google Chrome
-   Mozilla Firefox (Link see Download)

**Note:** For information on installing browser extensions, see the documentation for the respective browser.

### Prerequisites

The browser extension’s features are available only under the following conditions:

-   The API Proactive Connect is enabled.
-   The browser being used allows the browser extension to run at the specified location.
-   The selected endpoint name follows standard naming conventions for hostnames.

If these requirements are not met, the browser extension’s features may not be displayed.

### Permissions

The browser extension uses the permissions of the currently logged-in user.
