# Spotlight (Preview)

The Spotlight in the Proactive Hub shows you all current alerts for your selected environment at a glance.

### Usage

Unlike Insights, which display critical messages about endpoints, Spotlight summarizes all **alerts for all areas** by priority level: Low, Moderate, and High. This gives you a centralized overview of the current actions needed in your environment without having to check each area separately. Use Spotlight to quickly prioritize alerts, identify affected areas, and navigate directly to further analyses and actions in the Proactive Hub.

All alerts are divided into the following groups:

- Security
- Stability & Performance
- Software Lifecycle

### Alert overview

The overview displays all alerts grouped by:

- **Priority** (High, Medium, Low)
- **Group** (Security, Stability & Performance, Software Lifecycle)

Above each section (priority or group) is the total number of alerts currently detected. Below that, you’ll see the breakdown by priority and group, along with the number of alerts detected in each.

**Animated graphic:** The animated graphic shows the distribution of alerts in a pie chart divided into the three available groups. The number and priority of the alerts are represented by yellow, orange, and red dots (depending on priority). The total number of all current alerts is displayed in the center of the chart.

### Groups

Below the overview, the details of the three groups **Security, Stability & Performance** and **Software Lifecycle** are displayed in three columns. Each column contains all current alerts in that group. Each alert is displayed on a card with additional details.

#### Priorities

The display within the groups can be filtered by the priorities **High, Medium**, and **Low** (multiple selections allowed):

In addition, all priorities currently relevant to this group are listed next to the group heading. This lets you see at a glance which priority levels currently have alerts in this group.

Finally, the respective priority level also appears on each individual alert card.

**Note:**

To use the “Security” section, you need an **Advanced** license.

### Cards

The cards representing individual alerts always have the same structure. They show you:

- Alert title
- Priority
- Recommendation: provides a brief recommendation on how to resolve the cause of the alert
- List of all affected endpoints

By default, three cards are displayed in each group. If there are more alerts in a group, you can view them by clicking the **Show More** button below the column.
