Summary

The overview page of the applications is the sum of all inventory results and gives you an insight into all applications installed in the selected environment and their stability.

Overview

The summary shows you at a glance how many applications are installed in total in the selected environment and how many of them were abnormal with at least one crash or hang in the selected time period. You can set the time period at the top right in the Measurement area. The small superscript number next to the abnormal applications shows you the trend compared to the previous period.

Measurement

In the Measurement area, all applications installed in the selected environment are listed and sorted alphabetically by name by default. Here you'll find an explanation of the table functions.

The following information is available for each application:

  • Application (name)
  • Publisher (of the application)
  • Installations (number in the entire environment)
  • Lastest version (highest version of the application found)
  • Average size
  • Last seen (last recorded during inventory)

In this graphic, you can see the most frequently installed applications in the selected environment within the selected time period. Select how many applications you would like to see (Top 10, 20, 30, 40 or 50). Select the time period at the top right.

Application stability over time

Here is a graphical representation of the stability of installed applications over time. You can see the progression of app hangs and app crashes over the selected period and recognize at a glance at which times there were anomalies. By hovering with the mouse over the lines in the diagram, you can obtain detailed information on the number of crashes and hangs on an exact date. Adjust the time period by zooming with the mouse wheel within the diagram or using the gray zoom bar at the top. The Investigate button takes you to the Stability section.
